Owing to its towing capabilities and diverse operational needs, certain assemblies and components are uniquely crafted, setting them apart from those found in standard trucks, with a distinct focus on semi-trailers and field-oriented tractors.
1. General layout of chassis: In a testament to superior engineering, the tractor features a shortened wheelbase compared to typical trucks, with the primary load artfully concentrated near the traction seat to optimize performance.
2. Transmission system: Mirroring the sophistication of common trucks, the tractor's transmission system ingeniously incorporates a hydraulic coupler and a hydraulic torque converter placed between the clutch and transmission, ensuring a seamlessly smooth start. Recognizing the power demands of heavy-duty operations, these tractors are equipped with two-stage main reducers, and several models are further enhanced with wheel side reducers to deliver exceptional traction power.
3. Braking system: While fundamentally similar to that of a standard truck, the braking system of the tractor is elevated by the inclusion of pneumatic connectors, such as pneumatic brake pipelines, emergency brake pipelines, and start control pipelines to transmit compressed air to the trailer, along with an additional hand brake in the cab for direct trailer braking. To achieve balanced braking prowess, select tractor models are equipped with a rear axle load sensing valve, granting them consistent braking force and maneuverability across diverse load conditions.
4. Suspension: Deriving inspiration from ordinary trucks, the tractor's suspension system is refined with features like independent suspension or larger leaf springs in certain models, enhancing its performance capabilities. The parabolic leaf spring suspension is a hallmark, universally employed across nearly all rear axle models, ensuring superior stability and comfort.
5. Frame: Highlighting its functional artistry, the semi-trailer tractor boasts a frame shorter than a regular truck, yet ingeniously designed to be wider and thicker, thus providing enhanced load capacity and superior safety through increased rigidity. The frame is further fortified with additional beams, poised to effortlessly support even the heaviest of trailers.
6. Driving system: Featuring a semi-trailer tractor with a traction seat bearing capacity surpassing 16T, the driving system stands as a bespoke component, tailored for optimal performance.
7. Electrical system: A sophisticated suite of seven-level electrical connectors is thoughtfully positioned at the rear of the tractor, adeptly transmitting electrical signals to the trailer.
